HAPPENING – A CLEAN ENERGY REVOLUTION

Filmmaker James Redford (Robert’s son) embarks on a colorful personal journey into the dawn of the clean energy era as it creates jobs, turns profits, and makes communities stronger and healthier across the US. Unlikely entrepreneurs in communities from Georgetown, TX to Buffalo, NY reveal pioneering clean energy solutions as James discovers how clean energy works and what it means at a personal level. Reaching well beyond a great story of technology and innovation, “Happening” explores issues of human resilience, social justice, embracing the future, and finding hope for our survival.

Dr. David Arnosti, faculty member at MSU, will join us in discussing the exciting news regarding renewable resources. Dr. Arnosti is also on the board of the Michigan Interfaith Power & Light. Joining him will be several members of the Haslett Community (UCC) Church’s Green Team to talk about the projects they have done to care for God’s creation and make the community greener.

A light lunch will be served. Everyone is welcome.
