Annual Be Well at ECHRS 5K Run/Walk

Eaton County Health & Rehabilitation Services are hosting their 5th Annual Be Well at ECHRS 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
The event is open to people of all ages. Walkers with strollers will be asked to start behind the runners. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and individuals are responsible for cleaning up after their pets along the course to display respect for the home owners.
Event prices: $20 (18 and older individuals) $15 (17 and under) $45 for team/family (3-5 members)
Event is timed with the Chronotrack B-Tag Disposable system that are attached to the bib(s).
Each participant will have the chance to win a free 1-hour massage certificate from Renew (massage therapy/acupuncture services at ECHRS), receive a long-sleeved shirt, car magnet, participant goodie bag and complimentary refreshments.
Top Male and Female overall individual finishers: 30 minutes free massage certificate from Renew and Playmaker’s $25 gift certificate. Top Male and Female finishers in each age divisions (9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over) will receive a 1st place medal.
The 5K Run/Walk begins at the parking lot of Wellness 101, Outpatient Clinic of ECHRS (1027 Health Care Drive, Charlotte, MI) with individuals heading south running along neighborhood streets with a fairly flat course the entire route leading back to the Outpatient parking lot. While not a closed event, Charlotte police officers will be assisting in directing traffic along the course.
All proceeds benefit: All proceeds to be placed in a fund to purchase special virtual reality equipment to assist in the rehabilitation of individuals who have suffered a stroke or other neurological conditions. The Healing & Healthcare Foundation is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization.
